Luis “LUC” Urena is a visual artist, sneaker customizer, fashion designer, and muralist from Roxbury, Massachusetts.

Luis started off learning traditional painting as a teen. His love for sneakers blended with his new found love for painting and formed a new journey into sneaker customization. This journey lead him into textiles and leather craft where he learned to sew. This grew into creating custom clothing and reconstructing 1 of 1 sneakers from scratch.

His artistic style is ever so fluid because of his constant inspiration from sneaker and fashion culture, his community of artists, and his mentor Rob “Problak” Gibbs who he has closely worked with since he was a teen.

 The goal is to building onto the skills he has by tackling different mediums of art and being an all round creative using those skills to apply into future projects in his community.
